Blepharoplasty is a procedure that consists of removing the excess skin of the eyelids, both upper and lower, as well as the extraction of protruding or bulging periorbital fat bags.

It is performed with oral sedation, plus local anesthesia.
It is an outpatient procedure with a minimal complication rate.
Among the post-operative care, the patient should not sunbathe directly on the eyelids, should wear sun protection glasses, avoid exertion and high temperatures. It is recommended to suspend substances such as aspirin, alcohol and tobacco.
